Along with huge price increases in local property markets, many people are seeing overseas investments as a stepping stone to gaining the financial ability to purchase in their home locations.

As mortgages become more sophisticated and readily available to local populations, the improvement of increasing middle classes and the creation of jobs, many young professionals in developing countries have more readily disposable incomes for rental properties and increased ability to obtain mortgages for purchasing, offering a solid capital growth possibility for foreigners investing in developing markets.
Many developing countries are seeing the potential that international investors are capable of bringing into their economies, and are beginning to offer tax incentives, improved tourism facilities and infrastructure along with extremely competitive pricing, attracting the wealth that international investors bring into their countries. Many areas such as Eastern Europe previously had government constructed pre-fabricated housing that are now beginning to fall down, requiring new construction, providing work and housing for locals, along with great investment opportunity for foreigners.
